What is a web portal?
From the Wikipedia - A web portal is a site that functions as point of access to information on the World Wide Web. Portals present information from diverse sources in a unified way. Aside from the search engine standard, web portals offer other services such as new and various other features. Portals provide a way for enterprises to provide a consistent look and feel with access control and procedures for multiple applications, which otherwise would have been different entities altogether.

How do I access my community page?
After you register through OurCommunitySource.com registration page and/or your community is activated; you'll receive an email with an all access user name & password. Then follow the following easy steps:

Step 1. Enter through My Community from the navigational bar (at the top of each page).
Step 2. Select your residing state
Step 3. Select your community's city
Step 4. Select your Community by name
Step 5. Enter your user name & password
Step 6. You'll be in your Community's page
Step 7. Be sure to bookmark your Community's page, so you don't have to follow steps 1-6 each time.
Step 8. Be sure to click on the Meet Your Neighbors link under your community's menu, and register for a unique user name & password to log into your Community's forum.
(Please note: more than 3 residents have to be registered in order for your community to have an active Forum page - a Community Administrator is not required)

Why do I have to register into my community's Forum page after I've already registered with OCS?  Because this site is an all access registered-user site, the Forum pages are secured and dedicated for your specific community and is monitored by your Community Administrator and/or OCS Webmaster.

I registered, but never received my OCS assigned access user name & password. What should I do?  It is possible that you entered an incorrect email address when registering. Send us an email, stating that you registered but never received your user name & password. Be sure to include  your Community Name (i.e., Subdivision/Condo/Townhome/Street/Block): registration@ourcommunitysource.com

What is the catch to the free service?
There is not a catch. OurCommunitySource.com understands the need for this type of service. Therefore, OCS relies on sponsors and donations to support this service for you.

What is the maximum number of documents & photos OCS will host?
OCS will allow up to 6 months of HOA and Committee minutes and will display up to 10 photos of community events (photos require an extra fee) - Your Community Administrator will control which documents and photos are to be posted.
