Mayville-Chautauqua Community Chamber of Commerce Announces Dates for the 2022 Mayville Winter Festival

The Mayville-Chautauqua Community Chamber of Commerce announces that planning has commenced for the 2022 Mayville Winter Festival they are looking forward to bringing this great event back to the community.
After having to cancel the 2021 winter festival due to an uptick in COVID cases, the Chamber’s volunteer committee is excited to be back on track for the coming year. Among new additions to the festival this year is a name change. To simplify the lengthy name and keep it connected to the Mayville area, the festival formerly known as the President’s Day Weekend Winter Festival will now be known simply as the Mayville Winter Festival. The committee will continue to keep it scheduled during President’s Day Weekend. The dates for the 2022 festival are as follows:
Friday February 18, 2022: Opening Ceremonies in the evening with the lighting of the castle along with the crowning of King and Queen.
Saturday February 19, 2022: Cold Water Rescue, the Polar Plunge, a Chili Cookoff, the In-Crowd from 5-8 pm, fireworks at 8 pm, along with food trucks, carriage rides, snowmobile rides, ice fishing, vendors, and much more!
Sunday February 20, 2022: The 2nd annual Winter Fest 5k, snowmobile rides and carriage rides, ice fishing, vendors and food trucks, and much more!
